Something To Get Me Started

My first English book is one of Ladybird's Peter and Jane series. My father bought it for me. I remember reading it with something like "This is Peter, This is Jane. This is Peter and Jane".

It was a small, blue hardcover book and it had beautiful illustrations of Peter and Jane doing this and that. The one that I vividly remember is the cover of the book showing Peter and Jane building sandcastle.

I like Peter. I like Jane. I like Peter and Jane.
